代谢组学是近年来发展起来的用于研究生物体系受外部刺激所产生的所有代谢产物变化的一门新兴技术。由于其具有与中医理论整体观类似的特点，并可根据代谢物组的图谱变化发现生物标志物，阐明中药毒性的整体效应，近几年代谢组学方法在中药毒理学研究中广泛应用。本文综述代谢组学在中药单味和配伍的毒理学研究以及中药毒性成分研究的进展。

Metabonomics is a kind of newly emerging subjest in recent decades，which focuses on the changes of all the metabolites produced by external stimulus in biosystem. For metabonomics is consistent with the theory of the holism concept of traditional Chinese medicine（TCM），and can track the biomarkers according to the changes of the metabolic fingerprint and illuminate the overall effect of TCM toxicity，now metabonomic methods have been widely employed in TCM toxicology research in recent years. This paper briefly presents the research status of TCM toxicology and summarizes the applications of metobonomics in the toxicity of single herb and compound recipe as well as the toxic ingredients of TCM.
